When will my order arrive?

Off-the-Rack suits, shirts, ties and other stock items generally ship between 1-3 business days after the order is placed. See our Shipping and Handling section for delivery times. During busy periods it can take up to 5 business days to ship.

 

Made to Measure shirts on average take 4-6 weeks from the time the order is received. If it is your first time ordering a Made to Measure shirt with us, we will send you one shirt first to check and confirm fitting. After the shirt fit is confirmed or adjustments are noted, the balance will be produced and shipped within 3-4 weeks.

 

Made to Measure suiting on average takes 7-8 weeks from the time the order is placed.

 

These are general guidelines and times may vary during the year due to order volumes.

How do I return or exchange my item(s)?

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your SPIER & MACKAY product, all regular priced merchandise can be returned or exchanged within 90 days after delivery.

 

For all bundle, sale, promotional priced merchandise or merchandise purchased with a coupon code, the item can be returned or exchanged within 14 days after delivery.

 

Simply send an email to info@spierandmackay that includes your order#, the item in question, the reason for the return/exchange and if you are looking for a return or an exchange of the item. We will then issue you a Return Authorization Number (RA#) and a pre-paid return label (Canada Only and for first Suit Return/Exchanges for US Customers).

 

Print the pre-paid label and attach it to the return parcel and drop it to your local Canada Post office (or UPS depot for US First Suit Returns).

 

For US Customers wishing to return a suit(s) that is not a first order, we can pick up the parcel via UPS for $25 USD.

Is every Made to Measure pattern unique?

Absolutely. Unlike other made to measure shirtmakers who simply modify existing patterns to fit your measurements, we develop a new pattern from scratch for each customer based on your unique measurements and proportions. The advantage of this is a superior and more comfortable fitting shirt that looks, moves and feels better. We feel this is the closest to getting a bespoke shirt without going the full bespoke route.

Do I need to worry about fabric shrinkage?

All of our shirt fabrics are made of 100% extra long staple Egyptian Cotton and sanforized in the fininshing process to reduce shrinkage. However, being of pure cotton, there made be residual shrinkage of 1-3% in the first 3 washes and mainly in the warp (length). We adjust for this in the collar, sleeve and body length for both Off-the-Rack and Made-to-Measure shirts.

 

Our Suits are Dry Clean Only and if service instuctions are followed you will not notice any shrinkage in the garment.

How do I track my order?

When your order is dispatched you are emailed a tracking number from Canada Post. This number can be traced via the Canada Post website.

How can I pay for my order?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express through our secured, accredited transaction partner Global Payments. In addition we also accept Paypal as an alternate payment method.

How do I know my dress shirt will fit?

Our Off-the-Rack program was closely developed with highly skilled master tailors with have 25 years of tailoring experience. Thier experince and input help to ensure that our patterns, sizing and fits are correct. We have developed 3 distinct fits that comfortably accommodate 80% of all men. We have detailed fit & size guides available online that outline how each shirt will fit you.

Our Made to Measure program is made by the same Master Tailors as our Off the Rack program and they thoroughly check all sizes and specs for discrepancies. If a discrepancy arises, we will contact you to verify and reconfirm the measurement before we draft the final pattern. To further ensure your total order is correct, if it is your first time ordering a Made to Measure shirt with us, we will send you one shirt first to check and confirm the fit. Once you confirm the fit and give feedback on the adjustments, we will process the balance of your order. Subsequent orders will be processed in full.

What Countries do you ship to?

We currently ship throughout Canada and the Continental United States. We are looking to expand shipping to certain European countries and Australia in the near future.

When will I receive my refund?

Refunds can take up to 7-10 business days to show up on your credit card after we receive the items back in our warehouse for processing.

Do you offer price adjustments?

To be eligible for a price adjustment, the identical size/colour/fit of the item must be in stock at the time of the request.

We honour price adjustments for purchases made within 7 days of an adjusted price in the form of a refund of the difference. We offer a store credit for the difference up to 14 days of an adjusted price. After 14 days, price adjustments are not eligible.
